I’m Johann, and I’m passionate about animals. I launched ReadySetGoPets to provide access to emergency preparedness kits for cats and dogs in case you need to quickly evacuate your home.
Based in beautiful Burbank, California, I’m passionate about animals and their well-being which is why I decided to offer evacuation preparedness kits specifically designed for cats and dogs.
With my kits, I aim to provide peace of mind to pet owners, ensuring that they are prepared for emergencies or evacuations*.
I'm excited to embark on this journey and am committed to putting my customers first in all that I do. My aspiration is to make a positive difference in the lives of cats, dogs, and their owners. My Personal Story
My story is rooted in a personal experience that shaped my determination to make a difference. A few years ago, my family and I found ourselves caught in the midst of a devastating fire that threatened our home and the safety of our beloved cats. It was a wake-up call that highlighted the importance of being prepared during emergencies. When we left with nothing but our cat carriers, we realized we were not adequately equipped to handle the situation and that if we were not ready, others might not be either.
With the emergency preparedness kits, I’m aiming to strike a balance between wellness and practicality.
Kits include the following items for both cats and dogs: blanket, two stainless steel bowls, brush, flashlight (with battery), mylar rescue blanket, one gallon storage container for water, plush toy, white noise machine to offer soothing distractions during evacuation, and one empty spray bottle with suggested use to to add lavender essential oil and water. In addition to what has been mentioned, for cats, there is a litter box and scooper. For dogs, a leash. Lastly, there are labeled plastic bags to add litter for cats or dry food for cats and dogs. The kits do not include food due to the unique dietary needs of your pets. Kits are sold with a backpack which requires you to add the all items upon arrival.

*Please note that due to the unique needs of every pet, kits are not sent with food or litter but instead are shipped with labeled bags for owners to fill upon arrival and to immediately store in their kits.
